Depuis qu’ils ont obtenu la licence club, les orga de la Concrète ne chôment pas, bien au contraire ! L’ouverture de la péniche le vendredi et le samedi soir leur a permis de rapprocher des colosses internationaux aux valeurs montantes de la scène locale.
Après avoir convié les technoboys parisiens d’As Patria à partager le booth avec Cosmin TRG et Efdemin, c’est le grand Chris Liebing qui est appelé à prendre la barre de la péniche en compagnie de deux défenseurs de la techno made in Paris, EXAL et Anetha, qui déclencheront les hostilités?

Figure majeure de la sphère internationale, Chris Liebing porte haut l’étendard de la techno depuis bientôt 25 ans. DJ, producteur, patrons des labels CLR, CLRetry (label de remix),
Stigmata, Soap et Spin Club, animateur d’un radio show, le germain a plus d’une corde à son arc !
Après ses débuts au club Omen de Franfort, la scène internationale découvre le natif de Gießen à la fin des années 90 avec ses EPs devenus classiques, « Dandu Groove » et « Drumcook », signés Fine Audio Recordings; techno puissante et primitive, beats implacables, rien à redire.
Sa musique et son attirail ont bien évolués depuis ses débuts sur platines cassettes. Le petit protégé de Sven Väth fût l’un des premiers à embrasser l’ère de la digitalisation musicale et à s’éclater sur logiciels. Il collabore d’ailleurs étroitement avec les développeurs qui lui filent en échange les toutes dernières versions des programmes. Luke Slater, Black Asteroid, Drumcell ou encore Tommy Four Seven ; son label et ses podcasts CLR sont devenus des références en matière de « banging techno ». Son émission de radio rassemble quelques 50 000 auditeurs en moyenne chaque semaine. En 2003, Chris est nommé « Best national DJ » lors des German Dance Awards contre Paul Van Dyk, Sven Väth and Westbam. A l’occasion du dixième anniversaire du label, il entreprend la restructuration de CLR ; l’opportunité de redonner ses lettres de noblesses et d’apporter une nouvelle dimension aux initiales CLR: « Create, Learn and Realize ».
Peu actif en production ces dernières années, le résident Cocoon préfère se focaliser sur ses performances et son label pour le moins prolifique. Dernière release en date, la compilation pour les 13 ans de CLR sortie en Novembre 2012. Sollicité pour la première édition du Weather Festival (ainsi que pour celle à venir), le globe-trotter posera de nouveau ses valises à Paris le temps d’une nuit, pour faire tanguer la péniche pour un set all-night long de minuit à 7h du mat’.
Anetha b2b EXAL
Anetha est une jeune DJette productrice parisienne établie à Londres depuis peu. Adepte du vinyle only, elle fait partie avec Myako des deux filles présentes sur la photo de classe si controversée parue en Novembre 2013 dans Trax Magazine. Et elle mérite bien sa place ! Oscillant entre dub, lignes acides et beats impénétrables, elle nous transporte dans une techno aussi envoûtante que raffinée.
DJ-producteur et moitié du duo Outlander Wax Theory, EXAL impressionne de par la précision et l’impétuosité de ses sets. Le nantais aspire à une techno froide et ténébreuse aux kicks acerbes et impitoyables. Amateur de galettes, il enchaine les soirées underground et nous livre des performances incisives au summum de la quintessence.
Activistes de la nouvelle scène montante, tous deux résidents des soirées BLOC (réputées pour leurs line-up gratinés), les deux comparses n’en sont pas à leur coup d’essai. Après avoir partagés l’affiche avec des grands noms de la scène underground tels que Voiski, Answer Code Request ou encore Ø [Phase] dernièrement, les technophiles s’installeront derrière les platines de 20h à 00h pour un warm up terrassant dont eux seuls ont le secret.

Since the club licence was given to them, the organizers of Concrete are not idle, quite the opposite! The opening of the barge on Friday and Saturday night allows them to bring closer international giants and rising values of the local scene.
After inviting Parisian technoboys of As Patria to share the booth with Cosmin TRG and Efdemin, it’s the great Chris Liebing who’ve been called to take the helm of the vessel in company with two defendants of techno made in Paris, EXAL and Anetha, who will engage in hostilities.
Major figure of the international sphere, Chris Liebing is holding high the techno flag since almost 25 years. DJ, producer, boss of labels CLR, CLRetry (remix label), Stigmata, Soap and Spin Club, radio host, the German has more than one string to his bow!
After his debuts at the Omen club in Frankfurt, the international scene discovers the Gießen native in the late 90’s with his now classic EPs “Dandu Groove” and “Drumcook” on the label Fine Audio Recordings; powerful and primitive techno, implacable beats, nothing wrong.
His music and equipment have quite changed since his debuts on tape decks. Sven Väth’s little protégé was one of the first to embrace the era of musical digitalization and to have a ball on software. By the way, he collaborates with the developers which allow him to have access to the latest versions of programs. Luke Slater, Black Asteroid, Drumcell or even Tommy Four Seven; his labels and his CLR podcasts have become references in the field of banging techno. His radio show gathers around 50 000 auditors each week. In 2003, Chris won the “Best national DJ” award of the German Dance Awards against Paul Van Dyk, Sven Väth and Westbam. For the tenth birthday of the label, he undertakes CLR reorganization; the opportunity to re-establish the prestige and to give another dimension to the letters CLR: “Create, Learn and Realize”.
Not much active in production these past few years, the Cocoon resident prefers to focus on his performance and his label which is nothing less than prolific. Latest release, the CLR’s 13th years anniversary compilation brought out in November 2012. Asked to be part of the first edition of the now well-known Weather Festival (as well as for the one to come), the globe-trotter will lay down his hat in Paris the space of just one night, to pitch the boat for an all-night long set from midnight until 7 a.m.
Anetha b2b EXAL
Anetha is a young DJ producer from Paris, recently established in London. Disciple of the vinyl only, she’s one of the two girls on the so controversial class picture published in November 2013 in Trax Magazine. And she deserves her place! Oscillating between dub, acid lines and impenetrable beats, she carries us through a techno as bewitching as refined.
DJ-producer and half of the duo Outlander Wax Theory, EXAL impresses throughout the precision and impetuosity of his sets. The Nantes native yearns for a cold and tenebrous techno with caustic and ruthless kicks. Vinyl amateur, he plays in lots of underground parties and delivers incisive performance at the height of quintessence.
Activist of the new rising scene, both residents of the BLOC parties (known for its strong line-up), the two accomplices are not new to this game. After having shared the headlines with big names of the underground scene such as Voiski, Answer Code Request or even Ø [Phase] recently, the technophiles will settle behind the decks from 8 p.m. until 00h for a crushing warm up that only they know how to.
