Le commandant de bord Laurent Garnier nous souhaite la bienvenue sur le vol AF 0490 !
Code Rouge, l’alerte est lancée ! Annoncé récemment pour une sortie prévue le 11 février (et donc un parfait cadeau de Saint Valentin pour les zamoureux), nous sommes en effervescence devant une nouvelle sortie de l’enfant du pays, celui dont le nom parle à tous les amateurs worldwide de musique électronique, le grand, le beau et toujours aussi fresh Laurent Garnier !
Ce maxi de 3 titres s’appellera AF 0490 et sortira sur le fameux label de Chicago, Still Music. Aux premiers abords, on pourrait croire à un numéro de vol Air France. Et bien justement, vous y êtes, AF 0490 est une référence au numéro de vol assuré par Air France entre Paris et Chicago. Véritable hommage à la sauce française à cette bonne vieille House de l’Illinois, si chère à notre Laurent national.
Les noms des tracks est très évocateur et sans fioritures : 1. « Bang » 2. « Boom » 3. « Beat ». Voilà.
Alors pour les grands amateurs de Laurent, et tous ceux aux oreilles aiguisées qui ont visionnés et écouté en boucle son mix pour la Boiler Room, la première track – « Ban g » – doit vous être familière. En effet Laurent Garnier nous a « teasé » lors de l’évènement en envoyant cette bombe faisant « bang » dans le crowd du Dekmantel Festival (31 :00) !
Le Projet Garnier, ça vous dit quelque chose ? C’est tout simplement un des projets lancé par Laurent pour l’année 2014 consistant à sortir 5 maxis sur 5 labels différents et dans 5 pays différents.
L’info et d’ores et déjà lancée : le 04 Avril est donc annoncé le second décollage, AF 4302 (Vol entre Marseille et Berlin) qui sortira sur… 50 Weapons, le label de Modselektor et qui comportera 3 titres : 1. « M.I.L.F », 2. « D.S.K », 3. « H.E ».

Recently annonced on the web and realeased on February 11th – so note that it’s one of the pefect gift for Valentine’s day – we are all so excited waiting for the new realease of the French native and known as a pillar of the French Electronic Music all around the world, Sir Laurent Garnier!
This new Maxi is named AF 0490 and will be released on the famous Chicago House Label : Still Music.
At the first sight, it looks like Air France flight number. And it is what it is : the Air France flight number between Paris and Chicago !
For Laurent Garnier this Maxi is a real (French) tribute to the Illinoi’s rooted music.
The name of the track is really suggestive without any embellishment: 1. “Bang”. 2. “Boom” 3. “Beat”. Period.
For Laurent Garnier’s lovers and those who got sharped ears who saw and heard again and again the Boiler Room of the DJ, you will realize that Laurent “teased” us at the Dekmantel Festival at 31:00 with “Bang” acting like a boom on the crowd!
Project Garnier: does it ring any bell for you? This simply is a new project launch by Laurent for 2014 involving to release 5 maxis on 5 different labels in 5 different countries.
The information is already spread on the web that on April the 4th, the second maxi – AF 4302, flight between Marseilles and Berlin – will be launch by 50 Weapons, Modeselktor’s label, and will propose 3 tracks : 1. “M.I.L.F”, 2. “D.S.K”, 3. “H.E“
Laurent Garnier amazes us for years and proves once again that it is far to be finished and that has more than one trick up his sleeve!
